Manufacturing of sweaters is being carried out in a four-storied building with a floor space of 44,600 square feet.

Workforce

The company is running with a total number of 1000 employees of different levels. Child labor issue has been considered at the time of recruitment of new workforce. Following table illustrates the stratification of workers along with numbers:

Product Development Unit

The UIBL has its own specialized Product Development Unit (PDU), where every samples of sweater has properly been checked by adept technocrats. The design and style of sweaters are maintained as wanted by the buyers. Similarity in terms of yarn, design, style and quantity of sample as ordered by the buyers has been ascertained all the way till arrival of the lots to the destination.

The company has its own designers who continue to prove their skillness in preparing sweater lay-out that deserves international standard. Being satisfied with the standard of sweaters produced by UIBL, international customers and buyers have come up with placing huge volume of order that keeps the factory functioning all the time.
